Karaaaa is one of deviantARTS hidden, and under appreciated, talents. As a member of the deviantART community for three years, she has contributed a number of photographic and photomanipulative pieces. Her photography gallery in particular, illustrates model photography at its finest.

Karaaaa's unique perspective allows her to capture pieces with a distinctive flavor. Upon viewing her photography, it is obvious the incredible effort she  puts into her work. The composition of her photographs is beautiful, her application of make-up- flawless, and her lighting- simply perfect. The latter can be seen in her  impressive black and white photography.  Her ability to craft such beautiful photographs makes Karaaaa an artist to keep watch of!

Her gallery is filled with a number of hidden gems just waiting to be discovered. I strongly recommend taking a look!

As a member of the deviantART community for the past four years, tanikel is undoubtedly one of deviantART's under-appreciated artists. Her work, specialising in photography, ventures into the fields of natural, portrait, and still life photography. Her inspiring work in photojournalism offers the opportunity for a greater insight into the life of those serving in the military.

tanikel's attention to detail is admirable, in particular, her 'Afghanistan 2011-2012' gallery. The said gallery presents an exquisite collection of pieces- all of which have a unique but similar flavour. In spite of these similarities, the stories behind each photograph is unique- and unquestionably, one that should be told. Her touching photography gives voice to the individuals living in a society in which they have seemingly been silenced.

I would like to congratulate tanikel on her moving photography, and recommend that you all take a look.

I'm not sure what else I'm really supposed to put in these blogs. I think I've always dreamed of having a journal that people looked forward to reading, but unfortunately I'm not all that good at writing. And so most of the time my 'attempts' at blogs end up with mindless blabber about stuff that's not all that interesting. i.e. what seems to be happening right now. On another note, a lot has happened since my last journal entry (in early October last year).

Most importantly, I finally finished school. After a thrilling 12 years of study, stress and routine, I've broken through the barrier of 'childhood' and emerged into the real world. Since my last exam on November 11, I've been spending my days working, horse riding, and spending time enjoying life. And I've never felt happier. I think what I'm enjoying most is the freedom. Not only in the sense that I no longer have the routine of school, study and sleep, but that I've found a freedom within myself. Perhaps its not something I can explain all that well.. but I think those who have completed secondary school education would understand.

With all my newly found free time, I'm hoping to get back into graphics, and into photography. I've recently been shuffling through some of my older photographs so I may share some of them with you in the near future. Hopefully I'll be able to bring something special to you all. But all this will all have to wait until I sort my way through the 27,460 notifications that have accumulated in my absence. This may take a while..
