The spring air is moist and the ground is damp. With heavy eyes you glace up the open pathway at the huddle of bodies. Clinging to one another for safety. Comfort. Your pace slows, you become distanced from the group. The road parts, the group turns and you stop. Withdrawn, you lift your hands and press your fingers to your temple.
You've always followed the group.
But now the opportunity has arose for you to become individual, and decide your own fate. Dare to be different? The signs tell you not to.. follow the crowd? Your heart tells you no. Decisions, decisions.
